Having a versatile table readily available for eating, playing cards or just lounging is essential. This one does it all and folds into a compact, storable size.
Legs extend from coffee table height to dining height and lock in place with instrument case clasps.
To keep the table compact, folded width has been limited to 12". To aid stability, two legs offer anchor points. These simply drop and lock into receptacles in the cockpit floor.
This is the prototype and improvements are in the works. The folded legs don't quite lay flat, but better workmanship will eliminate that.
Small rubber feet provide cushioning if table is resting on a hard surface. Feet recess into holes to allow full height extension.
These braces are designed for drop-leafs, but they work well to keep legs firmly held in place when opened. Oval recesses in table bottom accommodate protruding hardware.
